‘The sharpest minds often ruin their lives by overthinking the next step, while the dull win the race with eyes closed.’ – Bethany Brookbank
Overthinking can literally stop people getting on with their lives. Often the crowded thoughts are unhelpful as many who overthink can imagine all the bad outcomes and scenarios. Others fail to make decisions as there are too many possible outcomes. Some may want a perfect solution, sometimes before they start something. When the mind gets too ‘noisy’ for long periods of time, people can find it exhausting. They can become tired, irritable and sometimes unproductive. It can often lead to depression and illnesses including eczema, insomnia, IBS, anxiety and many others.
Although we all need to think, to survive, to solve problems and to get things done, the way that we think is important. Being able to really relax is also key.
Jo can help you to look at things in a different way, teach you how to calm your mind and focus on what is important.
